The focus during Level 1 is on opening the energy channels on a physical level, allowing the practitioner to connect to the universal life force energy, which flows from the cosmos through the crown of the head and down to the heart and hands.
Many Reiki Masters emphasize self-Reiki as the goal of the Level 1 designation, encouraging students to focus on practicing Reiki on themselves, thereby working through their own obstacles. The Reiki Level 1 attunement was initially given in four separate attunements. There are some Reiki Masters who still teach using this method. However, many Reiki Masters provide the Level 1 attunement in one single attunement. Many experience physical symptoms of energy in their palms after the first attunement — including tingling, coolness or heat. Typically the Level 1 course also includes an overview of the history of Reiki, hand placements and self and group practice.

It is suitable for anyone who wants to develop their own self healing, share with others friends and family, and allows you to move onto Reiki Practitioner Level 2, where you can practice Reiki professionally.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What you will learn” tab_id=”1559649130370-647c789c-c5ea”][vc_column_text]Many other companies offering similar courses but have much larger classes, therefore it has to be taught over a longer period of time. You may be asked to come back a second day to go over what you have learnt as the tutor does not have time to get around the class due to the large numbers.
Some other schools offer their courses over 2 days, sometimes it is a good way to get you to pay more but very often you will learn the same routines so what is the difference? They will often have much larger classes so they will have to spread their training over a longer period of time however we believe in small numbers so you receive one to one tuition.
We also send a you a fantastic Anatomy and Physiology manual before you attend our courses; another reason why some training classes elsewhere are over 2 days.
This will be due to the fact the tutor will spend a lot of the time reading about the A & P on the day which we feel you should not pay for, so we give you a manual so you can learn this prior to the day and keep it for reference.
