Why an Ocean Breeze bath bomb?

Some products become timeless classics connected with a single brand.  When it comes to a grand bathing experience the modern way.  It seems everyone is making a ball of fuzz and bubbles these days, but it all started with the amazing Lush.

I can tell you the bath bomb was invented in 1989 by the ever-curious founder of LUSH, Mark Constantine.  His experiment of combining baking soda and citric acid gave birth to the latest craze.

LUSH has also introduced the shower bomb.  This is perfect for the fun-loving young and old in need of a quick pick-me-up in the morning.  Here at LA Skincare we have been busy making bath and shower fizzes.

What’s in them?

LA Skincare’s Cocoa Butter Bath Bombs contain the following ingredients: Sodium bicarbonate, Citric acid, Aqua, Parfum: Theobroma cacao, CI 42090, Benzyl salicylate, Citronellol, Butlyphenyl methyl propional, Linalool.  They weight approximately 150g each

Each bath bomb contains bicarbonate of soda to gently soften the water, citric acid to provide the bath bomb fizz.

The main ingredients are mostly baking soda/sodium bicarbonate and citric acid.  To that, many things can be added to add to the potency and benefits of the bomb.

In essence, when in water, the sodium bicarbonate reacts with the citric acid and releases what we know as carbon dioxide gas.  Much like how we intake oxygen and breathe out the dioxide.

As the bomb begins to break apart, the scents and colours are released for a psychedelic effect.  Move aside bubbles, the fizz is in!

Bombs with Epsom salt are recommended as they soothe the skin.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1513932577782{padding-top: 40px !important;padding-bottom: 40px !important;}”][vc_column width=”7/12″][vc_column_text]
